I caught my partner out in the yard with some brown parcel tape :0
He has just taped on the rear frame loop to show me how it's going to look !!!
Anyway he has put the wheel on as you can see. Now he says when it's on the centre stand the back wheel is just off the floor by the amount shown. (couldn't find a tape measure, so I have improvised). He said this bike is heavy at the front so its going to lift the back up slightly off the floor when on the centre stand.
I have been getting leasons as he goes along so I understand how things should look and why.
Next pic is a side view I took to show the angle of the swingarm, it looks just about right now and you can also see that the distance from the top of the tyre is nicely in proportion to the rear frame loop. Also the rear frame loop looks just about right too - Past the vertical centre of the wheel.
Next pic shows it's going to need a new top mounting making
another pic at another angle
Its also going to need a new bottom mounting making
close up pic next
2 spacers on the swingarm pivot to centralise the swing arm correctly
It's gonna look nice when the chain drive is done
Well done J . Still shit loads more to do though... I love this project thing he's out of my hair allllll dayyyyy :)
